The Day After Christmas

I just read this ADORABLE, little book, "'Twas the Day After Christmas" with my two-year old, which he received as a gift from his uncle & auntie (my brother & sister-in-law) yesterday. Of course, I just had to share the excitement and joy I the experience.

The story starts out, 'Twas the day after Christmas (note the date of this post - how appropriate, right?) and all through the house, every creature was stirring..."What's going on?" said a mouse! You get to interact by lifting flaps throughout the book to help this worried little mouse figure out how to keep the Christmas spirit alive all year round. ...So stinkin' cute!!!

But wait! That wasn't even the best part! When we were done reading the story, my son turned to me and said, "Mumma, that is just like "Kissmas" time and Mumma and me clean it ALL up!" (which we've been slowly doing today).

The teacher in me was SO excited to hear him making text-to-self connections for the first time, I almost cried!!! I know any teacher will completely understand that.

All I WON for Christmas Giveaway!

'Tis the season for a Christmas giveaway! As the song goes, "Its the most wonderful time of the year." But, as teachers, we know it is also the busiest time of the year! There's the end of the quarter/semester grades, winter assessments, the standards you have yet to find an extra second to teach, holiday activities, programs and school events. Let's not forget the enormous amount of patience it takes to teach and manage a classroom of students anxiously waiting and counting down the days to winter break!

With all of that in mind, I've teamed up with over 60 fabulous TpT authors to provide 2 lucky teachers a little relief during the last hectic week before the much deserved break.

Below you will find a list of the 68 prizes up for grabs. Each image is linked directly to the item, where you can find more specific information about it.

*After all of that browsing, don't forget to come back and enter to win! The prizes have been split into 2 seperate Rafflecopters. You may enter BOTH!

The winners will receive the digital files via email from the authors after the giveaway ends.

Good luck!!!
